Swadeshi means “of one's own country”.

Inspired by India's freedom-era movement for self-reliance, we built a marketplace where artisans set their own prices and tell their own stories — and where anyone, anywhere, can bring a piece of living tradition home.

We work with over 2,000 makers across 18 states, return 70% of every sale to them, and ship with plastic-free packaging.
